Kadima Board Position Job Descriptions

President: Oversees the rest of the board. Representative of Kadima to the synagogue. Provides senior leadership to other members. Responsible for taking minutes (notes) at meetings.

VP Communications: Responsible for helping with sending out mail and making phone calls to members, parents, and other members of the community.

VP Membership: Oversees membership and helps to recruit new members.

VP Social Action/Tikum Olam: Helps raise money for tzedakah and plan related social action events.

VP Israel Affairs: Stays educated on current events in Israel, helps educate members about Israeli culture, and helps plan related events.

VP Religion/Education: Helps members learn about Jewish laws and observance. Assists in planning related events, including Kadima Shabbat.
