Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is an event that has been replicated around the country to raise awareness and money in the fight to end hunger and Beth El is pleased to host its second year in the South Hills. Attendees are given a simple meal of delicious soup and bread, and adult ticket holders can choose a pottery bowl of their choice to take home as a lasting reminder of those whose bowls are empty. All proceeds will benefit local food pantries and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.…
